The compressor, height 5,5 meters, gives the radiatorplate smooth and streight form

Radiaattoritehdas Salomaa Oy was grounded year 1969 in Harjunpää, Ulvila.Finland On radiatorline, which is 45 meters long, is in use for e.x. lines computer steering, the wheel welding for radiator ends, the rounding of corners and the cutting of edges. Radiators fraction distance is 33 1/3 mm, convectorplate is spot welded on the the top of the radiator and each radiator will be equipped with four joint pipes.

Radiators with one plate (types 10 and 11) joint pipes are welded on the back of the radiator. On two and three plated radiators (types 21,22 and 33) joint pipes will be welded in between the plates. The joint pipes in use are made of wrought iron and they are universally in use both in Finland and in other parts of Europe. Chrome-plated stop made of brass and the turning vents are in the photo are included in the delivery.

Surface finishing line

Surface finishing is supervised by computers with the newest surface finishing procedures, which meet the DIN 55900 standard. In the beginning the products go through two-phased degreasing phosphating process, after what they are dried before beeing dipped into primer base. RS-products are finished with polyester epoxy powder painting, in which the electrostatic powder particles will  cover the surface. Next the products will go through the furnace. In the furnace the powder particles sinter and form an uniform protective paintcoat.

Radiators drying furnace

Both for the primer bases and the paint finishs drying there exits separate furnaces. With the furnaces is achieved long, 40 minutes drying time, which quarentees the best possible solidity for the paint. Straight from the paintingline after the cooling, radiators are packed in plastic corners and contraction film.

Re-painting It is possible for the colour of RS-products to be changed later at the installation place.  For the re-painting Teknos Winter Ltd Teknomic-toned Futura alkyd paint is suitable. The adhesion and thermal stability of other paints should be clarified. Packing Every RS-product is separately packed with contraction film. RS-panel radiators and panel radiators are packed with plastic corner parts. RS-convectors are covered with cardboard on the sides. Transportation, handling and stocking To ensure faultlessness transportation, handling and stocking are taking place in dry conditions. Transportation is managed by Kiitolinja Oy. Weight and Volumes The weight and volume are itemized within every product. Guarantee Radiaattoritehdas Salomaa Oy guarentees its products for two years, which covers the material and production faults. A faulty product will be replaced free of charge with the same kind of product or with a similar product. The guarantee doesn´t cover the damages caused by a faulty product, the costs due to exhanging the product, the production loss of the buyer, the profit which is lost or other indirect expense. The quarantee doesn´t cover damages, which occur due to incorrect stocking and handling during transportation, on the worksite or on the installion place. The quarantee also doesn´t cover damages caused by incorrect use such as outside or inside corrosion, use of corrosive materials, rubbing, overpressure or freezing.
